About Jared Lockhart Design

Jared Lockhart Design creates landscapes and gardens. Each design is unique but shares a similar approach. The work is often collaborative and always the result of an explorative research and development phase, which involves model making and in depth analysis of the natural and cultural history of the site. Our home is Auckland but the work is throughout New Zealand over a wide range of natural and built landscapes. The work is primarily residential but often expands to include selective commercial work.

The studio is run solely by Jared and was created in January 2015 after he returned to Auckland from London where he worked for 8 years for the highly respected and successful landscape designer Jinny Blom.
