About the Role

Jared Lockhart Design is looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Manager / Office Assistant to help keep our design studio running smoothly. This is a part-time position, 2 days per week — one day based in our Auckland studio, and one day potentially working from home.

You’ll be supporting a small, creative team across a range of administrative and operational tasks — perfect for someone who thrives in a behind-the-scenes role, enjoys variety, and takes pride in being across all the details.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with invoicing and general accounts admin
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Organising new project enquiries and gathering project information
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Ensuring staff timesheets are kept up to date
  • Keeping the website updated with recent work and team changes
  • Organising press packs and scheduling garden photography
  • Coordinating internal events, team learning sessions, and networking opportunities
  • Managing IT and software subscriptions,
  • Filing and general studio admin

What We’re Looking For

  • Super organised with strong attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently
  • Familiar with tools like Xero, Streamtime, or similar platforms (or quick to learn)
  • Prior experience in an admin or office support role is a plus
