About the Role
Jared Lockhart Design is looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Manager / Office Assistant to help keep our design studio running smoothly. This is a part-time position, 2 days per week — one day based in our Auckland studio, and one day potentially working from home.
You’ll be supporting a small, creative team across a range of administrative and operational tasks — perfect for someone who thrives in a behind-the-scenes role, enjoys variety, and takes pride in being across all the details.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with invoicing and general accounts admin
- Ordering office supplies
- Organising new project enquiries and gathering project information
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Ensuring staff timesheets are kept up to date
- Keeping the website updated with recent work and team changes
- Organising press packs and scheduling garden photography
- Coordinating internal events, team learning sessions, and networking opportunities
- Managing IT and software subscriptions,
- Filing and general studio admin
What We’re Looking For
- Super organised with strong attention to detail
- Clear and confident communicator
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently
- Familiar with tools like Xero, Streamtime, or similar platforms (or quick to learn)
- Prior experience in an admin or office support role is a plus
