Hawke’s Bay

A large landscaping project at the base of Te Mata Peak in Hawke’s Bay.

The house is unconventional in that it is split into separate living and sleeping quarters, with guest houses set into the opposite hillside across the lake.

The landscaping therefore plays a key role to link each building, and to carefully reveal the magnificent views across the greater landscape as you move through the property.

Completed in late 2022, these images show the young gardens in their first season and the construction process, as well as initial design renders.
