Cabins, Northland
Natural native planting is the focus for this long term cabin project based on the shores of the Kaipara harbour. The cabins, designed by architect Nat Cheshire, won the coveted title of New Zealand Home of The Year 2014.
The intention of the project is to create a landscape that compliments the quality of the architecture and the setting.
Working in collaboration with the well known New Zealand based landscape designer Gary Boyle, we aim to regenerate the landscape to re-establish its place in the natural surroundings. Installation of walking tracks throughout the property will enable the owners to take advantage of the natural vistas of the harbour and clearings within the woodlands.
In progress.
