Clifftop Garden, Waiheke Island

A coastal clifftop garden which weaves through various built structures.

The planting consists of a very simple yet effective NZ native planting palette. Clouds of muehlenbeckia come up through a carpet of carex grasses, with groves of nikau and flax to create some height against the Pohutukawa trees.
